Victorian dog deaths caused by indospicine toxin from native plant, but link to food still unclear

Victorian authorities have revealed that a toxin found in a native plant is the cause of 14 dog deaths in the state.

Last week Agriculture Victoria issued a pet food outbreak alert, ordering people not to feed their pets meat sourced from eastern Victoria while the matter was investigated.
